Recently I featured Nicole’s post about her auto-buy authors in this blogger appreciation post. After reading her post, I felt inspired to write my own! But also Nicole convinced me to do it hahahah. I think you all will be able to guess a few of the authors on my list. As Nicole said in her post, auto-buy for me doesn’t necessarily mean I will purchase all of their books, since that’s dependent on my personal finances. However I will always read any book from these authors!! And If I have the money, then I’ll buy their books.

I’m also going to list a handful of authors that I think could become auto-buy authors, but at this point I’ve only read one of their books. So they’re on my “potential” list! I’ll definitely be picking up their future books since I loved the one of theirs I read so much.

I haven’t done a book tag in a while and I like the creative questions that people come up with! Other people are much more creative than I am LOL. Anyways I saw Meghan @ Whimsically Meghan do this one, and I really loved the questions so I thought I would do it myself! It’s all about discussing why you pick up the books that you do. Hello and happy September! Today for The Happy Place 5, we’re talking about book recommendations that we’ve gotten from our friends. One of my favorite things about the book community, be it bookstagram, book blogging, or Twitter, has been meeting people! Naturally, since these people all love books and have read different things than me, I’ve ended up VASTLY INCREASING MY TBR.

I’m just sad that I don’t have all the time in the world to read everything haha. So anyway, today I want to highlight a few books I’ve read because of some of my dear friends! I picked only five books, but there are actually more than five friends. This is because a couple of these books I can’t remember who recommended it first, but I know all of them were shouting at me to read it hahaha.

Happy August! This month for our “The Happy Place 5” series, we are choosing books that we’d bring with us to a deserted island. I thought this was going to be difficult, but it turned out to be really easy for me! I was surprised. Also making this post really made me want to read all of these books like right now hahaha.

Aaaaand just like that, it’s March. Which means! Yes, it’s time again for The Happy Place 5! This month we are talking about “Places you’d take a portal to in an instant.” To be honest, this one was kind of hard for me. Mostly because a lot of the settings in the books I read seem really cool but also really dangerous or scary lol. I tried to pick books where I’d be okay living there if there’s no portal back. Buuuuut really, I’m making this post assuming that I can portal back home if I want to hahaha.
